GOD'S A HANK LOCKLIN FAN

That God must be a Hank Locklin fan.
To explain myself, there's no need to try
'Cause Hank's own songs will tell you why. For when temptation seems to come my way
I pray, "Lord, PLEASE HELP ME I'M FALLING!"
and that ole' devil just runs away. And when I'm down and face defeat
I pray, "Lord SEND ME THE PILLOW of peace." And when the answers to my prayers are given
I must confess IT'S A LITTLE MORE LIKE HEAVEN. He says, "YOU'RE THE REASON I died on the cross,
for I want none of my children to be lost." "I can be your refuge, a place where you can run
if you'll only LET ME BE THE ONE." "I keep my promises, my word is true
I sent my son Jesus FROM HERE TO THERE TO YOU." So take the Lord with you on life's HAPPY JOURNEY.
Hurry up now, for he'll soon be returning! And when in the eastern sky he appears I pray
we'll all be there together WHERE THE BLUE OF THE NIGHT MEETS THE GOLD OF THE DAY. So maybe now you'll understand
that God MUST be... a Hank Locklin fan!
