listening to radio, even watching grand ole opry
is very disturbing to many of us over 49 year olds
a few of your statue are still at opry, but mostly
what is seen on the TV portion is Blue Grass, or
Gospel, or some new artist, not the country we tune
in for. The United States of America, referred to by
all us folks is fondly known as the USA. The country
I say Country in which we all live. When you take
the US ( I mean Us which means We) away from USA
What you have left is A. I hate to think what may
come after A, if they don't quit taking the Country
out of our music. You, Bill Anderson, Little Jimmie,
Stonewall, you know the ones, they were around in
the 50's, 60's, 70's, Skeeter, Jeam Shepherd,
We've lost Roy, Justin, Ernest, so many, you and
those already gone have kept Country Music alive
thru other attempts to make it something else.
Western, BlueGrass and Gospel fit in real well in
Country, but it seems they are trying to replace
country with these(especiaally the TV section. In
the past we have lived thru times like this and country
always won out, as it should. With the communicastions
under the control of what we have now, nobody can
perdict what will happen next- But we want you and
the others to know that when you are on the Opry, we
tune in to hear you. not a lot of what has passed
before out eyes, disturbed out hearing, etc. Keep working
on it, get to the Opry every time you can. Maybe we
can help the world slow down a little, at the the rate
changes are taking place it is sure to disrupt or
blow up if it doesn't slow down a little.
