Mr. Locklin, I believe my uncle Boots Bourquin may have played in the stage band of the Big D jamboree about 1952. I was about nine or ten years old and already knew the words to your song "Send Me the Pillow that You Dream On". You had a distinct voice that I can still hear. I remember going to the Jamboree and a few of the popular songs of the time. Little Jimmie Dickin's "Take an Ol' Cold Tator and Wait";"Sleepin' at the Foot of the Bed", Hank Snow "I'm Movin On", Hank Williams "My Buckets Got a Hole in It" and "Settin the Woods on Fire", Ernest Tubb "Walkin the Floor Over You", and some one singing "Why Don't You Ride in My Little Red wagon" and "Roly Poly". These stand out but there were others. I moved from South Dallas in 1956 but will always remember that era of great Texas country music and was fortunate to have been to the Big D Jamboree from about 1952 through 1956. I will always "dream on that pillow" of those days that you and others sang about. Sincerely, Breck A. leath California
