Opry membership

I've always been curious as to how artists become members of the Opry and who first introduced them to the Opry audience as a new member. What can you tell us about how it happened in your case? Have you introduced new members for the first time? Who? I'm a collector of country memorabilia and artifacts. Among my proud possessions is a tape of a 1954 "Prince Albert" portion of the Opry on which the late Webb Pierce introduces you as a guest when "Let Me Be
The One" was hot on the charts. Brings back a lot of memories. Thanx for your loyalty to and support of the Opry over the years.
